Statue of Liberty
I recently saw a woman wearing toe socks and flip flops. Granted, I liked this combo, back in the 6th grade, but for a middle aged woman I think it's a tad outdated. Her feet reminded me of the Statue of Liberty foot, all monochromatic and with each toe very defined. And I'm thinking, "if you're worried that your feet are going to be cold today, why don't you wear sneakers and socks? Or perhaps something with a closed toe?"

Never underestimate jewelry
In this NYTimes article, a new form of jewelry is introduced; Band-Aids. A man can now be seen carrying a Balenciaga bag, with matching Band-Aids as an accessory. Of course i was all about Band-Aids as a kid, but are we seriously doing this as professional adults? Apparently, because they are showing up on the red carpet at movie premieres and will be making appearances at New York Fashion Week. And I suppose that such a popular trend is good for the average consumer because Band-Aids are so affordable, but whatever happened to classic jewelry? Diamonds, pearls, and gold. What about silver? Will Band-Aids be coming down the runways of Dolce & Gabbana and Gucci during New York Fashion week?
